Another pretty easy day. Maine has great scenery. Just another cruise into town. It has been weird doing the “one night out, one night inn” thing. Some people do this the whole way North. I can see some appeal in it, it’s pretty comfortable but I have one more town after Stratton and then it’s on to end. But I don’t want to think about that yet. The hostel here is nice and there are some southbounders in who seem to have a good grip on what they are doing, unlike the guys in Rangely. Just relaxing, talking to folks back home and resupplying. Last of “the big Mountains” tomorrow. Over the Biggelows and then into the flatland that leads up to Katahdin.
